OMG … “I got a DWI on my way to see you …”

So Scarlett FINALLY decides she wants to be a part of Jaded4 and reminded me of a story (that happened a while back) to go along with a question I posed earlier … “Ladies, what is the best excuse you have heard/used to blow off a date?“

Here goes … this shit is good.  As I write I realize what fucking losers I have allowed to take seconds from my life that I will never get back.  The good news, it gives me shit to write about here and make our readers aware of the shit men pull out of their ass when they are backed in to a corner.  BTW, that is my best attribute …. I am like a cat … sit back, watch, sit back, watch, sit back, POUNCE!!!!!

Story time … many years ago I meet this fireman … brotha is HOT.  So RC and I have been knowing each other for about 6 or 7 years now … we hooked up once … and haven’t seen the guy in person again.  There are really two parts to this story, Part 2 goes in Calyx’s upcoming post (stay tuned and you will see Part 2 of this story).  Promise, getting the story now.

RC lives about 3 hours from me and one weekend he tells me he is going to come see me. Note to self, plan on spending the weekend without RC because he won’t show.  RC was supposed to show up Friday night … 5pm I get a call “Baby, I am leaving in about 30 minutes, can’t wait to see you”… Really, 30 minutes huh???  Two hours later, I get a text (mmm hmmm, scared to call me?) “Baby, I am waiting on my son to get out of practice, his mom called and said she couldn’t pick him up.  Will be on my way when he is done.” MMM HMMMMMM … see you shortly RC.  1130pm on Friday night, in rolls another text … “Baby, I am on my way.”   Guess who, goes to sleep, sleeps all the way through the night and then wakes up by herself the next morning … surprise, that would be ME!!!!! 

I get up, go to the gym, get my workout on, go to breakfast, grocery shopping, buy a cute outfit and come home.  Just to see the response, I sent a text ”Baaabbby, what time would you predict I will be seeing you today?” .. his response “I’m leaving right now baby, see you shortly.”  Sound familiar … hee hee???  Couple hours later I get a text “Baby, about 15 minutes from you, going to stop by and see my familiy and will be there around 7.”  RC gets my infamous “Ok.”  7pm comes, 11pm comes, 2am comes, Sunday comes and goes … enter Monday.  I am sitting at work late Monday morning and up pops a text … “Baby, I was leaving my family’s and on my way to see you and I got a fucking DWI, I just got out of jail. What a great fucking weekend.”

Wow, really???  Ladies, I am here because I was played by a very skilled playa.  I have met many many many men in my lifetime and heard so many lines and excuses that I often think I can’t hear any more … never have I heard “I got a DWI coming to see you.”  ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?????

ADVICE:  Ladies, never expect anything from a man until you see it with your own eyes.  We often get ourselves all hyped up on the idea of him, what we are gonna do, where we are gonna go … STOP … take it for what it is …. and proceed as you would without him in your life. Expect nothing, this way you are never disappointed.

With RC, I had no plans for the weekend … well, I had plans which was to have a weekend of “ME” time. When he told me he was coming to see me, I still knew I was going to have a weekend of “ME” time … had I had other plans, trust when I tell you they would not have changed in the least.  Be cautious … always.

Update to Post …..

I am hanging out with some ladies last night and guess who makes his monthly appearance on my phone …. RC.  Via text, (yeah, classy right??) he is still telling me he misses me and is thinking about me.  Really, it has been almost 7 years and you still miss me and think about me … MMM HMMMM … sure you do.  I handle it the way I handle 99.9999% of his communication … I do nothing.

ADVICE: Ladies, they will always pop back up in your life.  Regardless of what went down or how good/bad it went down … he will pop back up at some point.  Prepare yourself for how you will handle the situation when you hear from him.  Don’t give up if a couple of days pass and you hear nothing … I have had men pop back up in my life many years after communication stopped.
